The Willows Assisted Living Complex is designed to offer the opportunity for individuals 55 years and older to enjoy luxury living in the privacy of their own apartment. Included amenities and services make this life style more secure and enjoyable. The Commons area provides a homelike atmosphere as tenants are served their meals family style. The Willows offers two apartment floor plan options.
Residents are encouraged to personalize their apartments with their own furnishings, photos, and mementos. The Willows residence enjoy freedom of personal independence in a residential environment that is staffed around the clock, creating a caring atmosphere that promotes privacy, dignity, and peace of mind.

About Community Care Center
History of Community Care Center In 1969 a group of community leaders felt there was a need for a nursing home to serve the elderly from Stuart and surrounding communities of Adair and Guthrie county. A board of nine directors was formed to develop a vision for the future and the steps required to make their vision a reality. Stock certificates were sold and purchased by community members for initial investment funds. A building site was purchased and plans were developed for the building. Community Care Center opened in December of 1970 and provided care for twenty-five residents. Through the years Community Care Center's board of directors continued the vision of the original board to best meet the needs of the Stuart community and Adair and Guthrie counties by various expansion and renovation projects. In 1986 the "Rock Island" hallway was built on, adding an additional resident rooms, offices and storage space. 1996 to 1997 additional resident rooms were added along with a rehabilitation room, office space, laundry area, walk-in cooler, employee break-room and a large Activity/Dining Room. The board of directors recognized the need for assisted living to provide alternative options to long term care in our community. The Willows, the 12-unit assisted living, construction completed 2001. 2008 The Evergreens, a 12 bed secure CCDI unit, construction was completed. The Evergreens offers a homelike secure environment for our residents with Alzheimer's/Dementia. Included in the 2008 new addition was a Therapy Suite, family suite, and beauty salon. 2015 to present Community Care Center has been updating common areas, resident rooms, and hallways with new flooring, fixtures and furniture. What sets us apart from other skilled nursing homes and assisted livings in surrounding communities is our operations are overseen by a volunteer board of directors who reside in Adair and Guthrie counties. Community Care Center and The Willows are committed to providing exceptional care for our residents and tenants in a comfortable and homelike environment.

Private Suites
​
Community Care Center offers spacious private suites which are furnished with a living room space for a residents family to visit in comfort. The suites may be used for residents on Hospice, short-term rehabilitation and/or long-term care.
Additionally, we offer a family suite for families to stay if visiting from out of town.
